the explanation but as I just suggested it may be that
the accused got cut by the very knife that he used on
the deceased. So that is one explanation, but you will
have to decide for yourselves.

was missing from her place. The deceased is not here to
tell us,
but we gather from the accused and from his
statement to the police that the lady accused him some-
thing like a week before, and that she accused him and
other people spoke to him about it, and this was annoying 10

basketball the deceased called him and accused him again.
She said she would put obeah on him, and put the police. He told you of an old man who approached him and told him
about giving the lady back her money. These annoyed him.

is, he was building up a revenge over this thing, and he
meant to get even with this lady, because she was accusing
him and so he planned just what he did. The accused
tells you, she told me about it a week before, I was
annoyed. I did not plan anything, it only happened
the morning when I went down there, when she again
accused me right inside there. The two of us alone
inside there. She again accused me and I just don't
know what happened to me; but I went off. He does not
know precisely why he did it. He can't understand, but
it just happened, either a lost of control or a blankness.

together. You have to decide if the Crown has proved its
case to your satisfaction so that you can feel sure; if
