I went inside the house to a room pointed out by Julietta Gaston as
the accused's bedroom.
Julietta Gastón. and P/C Pickering were present. This
was about
12.20 p.m.
I saw a grey coloured valise, a brown paper shopping bag, a 5
bed and a clothes line string. I opened the valise and looked inside. It

Gaston is the clothes of the accused. I kept this valise. I searched the bag.
That also had in clothing. I saw a pair of orange and white sneakers.
was blood sprinkled on the toe-tip. The bag was also tidily packed, more
at the bottom than the top. Julietta Gaston identified these as the property
of the accused. I also found in the bag a yellow and white striped bath
trunk. This had blood in the area of the waist. I took the contents of
this bag in my custody.

I saw P/C Blyden at East End Station at about 3.20 p.m. on 19/1/77. He
handed me an upper denture. I kept is in my custody and now produce it

I saw Cpl McIntosh at Police Headquarters at about 5.30 p.m. He handed
me a piece of cord. I kept it in my custody. It was blood stained and there

was a knot in it.
I now produce it EXH VM7. It now has two knots in it.

P/C Blyden also handed me at about 5.40 p.m. two $1.00 notes. These
notes were blood stained. I kept them in my custody and now. produce them..

On 19/1/77 I saw the accused at Police Headquarters at 5.45 p.m. P/C
Samaroo was present.

P/C Samaroo gave me one blue pullover, one pair of sandals and 4 copies 30
of a plan. I handed them back to him.
I know P/C James. I saw him at Alvin Hodge at about 6.10 p.m.
He gave
me a prinair ticket, and $2.50.
