On 19/1/77 I began investigation into this matter at 9.20 a.m. At

10.30 am. I went to Major Bay to the shop of the deceased. Went into the 5

kitchen.

There are four ways. that one can come out of the kitchenė

(1) By a door facing seawards. (2) by a window facing seawards. (3) by a

door leading to the pool room. (4) by a door leading to the grocery.

If one comes out of the door or window facing sea-wards, one can get

to the main high road by walking eastward or westward through the deceased'$10

flower garden.

On 19/1/77 the accused used to live at Major Bay on the land-ward side

of the main road. There is a motorable foot path that leads from the main

road to accused's house. This foot path is north and west of the deceased's

main

shop. The foot path reaches the road opposite to the deceased's garden. 15

I left the shop and went to the accused's home with the police officers

including P/C Pickering angulietta Gaston was there. I went behind a pit

toilet. I saw a blue pullover and one long brown pants about a foot behind

the toilet on the grounds There was blood on one leg of the pants and

there was sprinkled blood on the front of the pullover. I collected the

pullover and pants and kept them in my custody. I searched them at East

End Police Station and in the right rear pocket of the trousers I found

a folded steel knife. It was blood stained. In the pocket, I also found

a blood stained rag. I kept these in my custody.
