I live at Major Bay
Civil Servant. Know accused. Know
deceased, I live in the same yard as the deceased. I am married to
her son Stanley Weston.
On 19/1/77 at 7.30 a.m. I saw the deceased. She came to my home.
She was wearing a brown hat and a yellowish green dress of a polyester 5
and slippers. The hat was relatively new - in very good
nature,
condition.

This is the hat deceased was wearing. It was not in the condition
it is now •
She left. I heard water falling so I knew deceased was watering 10
her garden. She later came and watered my garden. This
15 minutes later.

I left home at 8.05 a.m. Deceased was then in her pool room.
I spoke to her and she came to the doorway, She was dressed as before.

That is the dress deceased was wearing.

These slippers belông to deceased but I cannot say if she was- wearing
those that morning.

I went to work at 8.05 a.m. Got to work atout 8.30 a.m. 8.50 a.m. I received a phone call and as a result I went to Peebles Hospital. I did not see the deceased at the hospital.
I have seen accused at the deceased's pool room quite often.
