I live at East End. I do maintenance work. Know accused. Know

Evelyn Rabsatt.

On 19/1/77 accused lived on the upper side of the road.

On 19/1/77 I left home about 7.10a.m. I was walking on the Major Bey

road in a westerlydirection. I saw deceased and I saw accused. Deceased

20

was on the western side of her garden and accused was on the main road.

Deceased was watering her garden. Accused went to deceased gate. Then he 25

turned backas though he was going back home. Deceased asked him "Is there

something can help you with my dear?" He replied no thanks.

Accused was

wearing a blue knitted shirt with red and white on the sleeve and a brown

pants. I got as close to accused as from here to the Magistrate's door.

His clothes were clean.

I know accused only for a short time.
