The wounds
were inflicted before death. A fair amount of force had' to be used in
causing the unjuries. The wound in the templet down to the skull bone.
The body was that of a person aged about 70 years. The wounds were
caused
all clean cut -/from a sharp instrument.

I was shown this knife at the postmorten examination. This knife
could have inflicted the injuries I described.

The wounds on the left hand show that the victim was trying to protect
harself.
I would say the assailant would have got blood on him from the victim.
From the wounds on the head, the blood would have spurted out.
