At their December meeting the G.M.C. of this Party passed
the following resolution :-
'This G.M.C. views with concern the events (hamely,
the use of capital punishment) which led to the necessity for British troops' being sent to Bermuda.
We appreciate that this is a complex constitutional issue and we would therefore be grateful if you could let us have some
information about the background to it.
