International Affairs (Voluntary Organisations)

Mr. Hooley asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list in the Official Report the contributions from public funds during 1975-76 to voluntary bodies or organisa- tions concerned generally with the promo- tion of understanding, research and com- mentary on international affairs, including matters concerning the Commonwealth, Europe, the Atlantic Community, the United Nations and its agencies and bi- lateral links with particular countries.

Mr. Ennals: In 1975-76, provision has been made in Foreign and Common- wealth Office Votes for payments to the following voluntary bodies of organisa- tions. In some cases the amount shown is a flat grant or subscription, and in others it represents a ceiling within which the body receives reimbursement of cer- tain actual expenses.
