CONSOLIDATED FUND BILL PROCEEDINGS:

THURSDAY, 28 JULY

1. The Government Chief Whip's Office advises that Mr Frank Hooley, MP (Lab, Sheffield) has put down the following subject for debate on 28 July:

Executions in Rhodesia.

The order in which Members raise subjects in the debate will be decided by ballot on Wednesday. There is no limit to the time which can be spent on each subject, nor to the length of the whole proceedings. However, it seems likely that the Government will not wish the proceedings to continue so long on 29 July as to hazard the last day's business of the House before it rises for the summer

recess.

2. The name of the Minister who is to answer Mr Hooley's section of the debate will have to be announced to the Government Whip's Office early next week.
