REGISTRY STAFFING
1
The Home Inspector has sent me copies of the minutes you have exchanged with Miss Croft about the future staffing of your Registry.
2 We would not be very happy to see two under-employed Grade 10/COS in an integrated registry even if this would increase the time available to them to assist desk officers. If it is your view that Mr Bailey would be overloaded if he had to handle the registry work alone, we would prefer him to be backed by a CA in K 271 to deal with the more routine tasks of the registry. I would hope that in these circumstances
Mr Bailey's leave could be covered by limited assistance from the Registry pool.

If you can agree to this suggestion we might look at the situation early in the new year in the light of 3 months' experience.
