1. Thank you for your letter MAC/CM/III 1 enclosing three petitions to HM The Queen and one to the Prime Minister.
2. The two petitions addressed to The Queen from the Kai Fongs and the Clansmen's Association were forwarded to Buckingham Palace with the advice that simple acknowledgements only should be sent to the Petitioners. This advice was accepted and I enclose acknowledgements, under flying seal, which I would be grateful if you would forward to those concerned.
3.
I also enclose, under flying seal, acknowledgements of Mr Ng Moonball's letter to HM The Queen (which we did not forward to Buckingham Palace since it had already been seen by Her Majesty's Private Secretary and of the Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association's letter to the Prime Minister. I would likewise be grateful if you would arrange for these acknowledgements to be forwarded to the writers.
Yours ever,
