STOLEN INSTRUMENT OF SURRENDER OF HONG KONG
1. We have spoken several times on the telephone rently about West Hampstead Police Station's enquiries about a document alleged to be the top copy of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender in Hong Kong.
2. I now enclose a letter from Detective Constable Kibble which covers a copy of the stolen Instrument of Surrender,
and a letter which lends some support to the contention that the document is of value.
3. I would be grateful for your views on the authenticity of the Indtbment.
