The secretary of Mr William Lee of Marine Navigation Company Ltd, telephoned today to ask for an appointment for Mr Y K Pao to see Lord Goronwy-Roberts on Thursday 12 February at 10.00 am.
2. She tells me that on previous visits to the UK Mr Pao has called on Lord Goronwy-Roberts and has also paid his respects briefly to the Secretary of State. He would like to do the same on this occasion.

Would you please advise whether Mr Pao merits such treatment?
