SIR Y K KAN'S VISIT

Mr Kidd in the Hong Kong Government Office doesnot know any more about Sir Y K Kan's visit than that he is due to arrive on Sunday evening, 6 June, and to depart on Wednesday morning, 9 June.
He is disinclined to become involved and since we have already made the arrangements direct with Hong Kong for Sir Y K Kan's calls on the PUS and Lord Goronwy-Roberts, I think it would be better to send a telegram about your wish to see him on Monday afternoon, 7 June. I attach a draft.
