The figures for 1976 are not yet available.
Notes:
* There is no separate figure for the plastic toy
industry. The figure given refers to the manufacture of plastic products not elsewhere classified and to other manufacturing industries, including the assembly of plastic toys in both of which the plastic toy industry is included. The figure is higher than it might otherwise have been because it includes other injuries not associated with plastic toy making.
** There is no separate figure for the electronics
industry. The figure given refers to the
manufacture of electrical machinery, apparatus, appliances and supplies and is therefore higher than it would be for the electronics industry alone.
