That this Hous welcomes the policy statement of the NEC of the Labour Perit-coa tained in 'Labour's Prograining for 1976' on Hong Kong, accepted at the Party o ference at Blackpool, concerning the inequitable distribution of wealth, the restriction et free trade union activities, the banning of political parties and the lack of adequate soc services; calls upon the Government to insist on the application of ILO Conventi ve ratified by Parliament, that urgent and substantial reform be made in education, hous". social welfare, labour and Now Territory spheres; and rejects the view that Chin. possibic concern for developments in Hong Kong prevent any real social or democratic advance being made in the Colony.
