We estimate that this visit will cost approximately £800 (return fare economy class, to Hong Kong, £719.80, plus 1/3rd subsistence £70/£80). It would suit us better to meet this expenditure in the next financial year, starting in April. But if you consider it essential that the visit should be made before then, I think we shall be able to find the money. We hope in any case that it will be possible for Mr Milton to be accommodated privately with a colleague as you suggest.
