Further to your telephone call on 29 September with John Stewart, the Head of Hong Kong Department, I enclose a copy of our standard brief on Hong Kong.
As to your enquiry on who in the Hong Kong Government would deal with insurance legislation, probably the best person to contact would be F Crabb Esq ED JP, Acting Director of Accounting Services, The Treasury, Central Government Offices, Ice House Street, Hong Kong. It is difficult from here to know who exactly there would deal with the administration of the Widows and Orphans Pension Fund, but I am sure Mr Crabb will know and be able to refer all your questions, if necessary, to the appropriate Hong Kong Government Law Officer.
