HONG KONG: MASS TRANSIT
On 6 June Mr Cohen wrote to you with details of companies registering for pre-qualification for the electrical and mechanical contracts for the mass transit scheme. Details of the prequalifiers have now been released and the attached gives details contract by contract. Inclusion on the prequalification list does not cean that any individual firm or group will necessarily be invited to tender when documents go out in Jugust or September. In any case it is unlikely that more than eight tenders will be invited for any one contract.
Could I also take this opportunity of introducing myself. I have replaced John Coben, who has transferred from this Division, and I will now be the Secretary for the HKT/G.
