The Admiralty Station site is shown on the plan at Annex D and is located to the east of Cotton Tree Drive on Harcourt Road. It comprises a two-level interchange station designed to provide access to the Eastern and Peak districts of Hong Kong Island and eventually easy passenger interchange between the Hong Kow and Island Lines. In addition to the usual station facilities, Admiralty Station will contain the Central Revenue Office for the railway where centralised control of all cash collection and distribution will be maintained. The site is within an area zoned Commercial/Residential on Statutory Plan LH 3/27 approved by the Governor in Council on 16th September 1969. As with the Pedder Station site, development rights above ground floor level are physically capable of separate alienation. However, the same advantages of continuous development apply and an outright alienation is recommended on the following terms:

value of $45 million.
