(a) a Chairman appointed by the Governor;
(b)
the Managing Director appointed under
section 7(2); and
(c) not less than 4 nor more than 8 other members
appointed by the Governor.
(2)
Subject to sections 7(1) and 20, the Board
is the governing body of the Corporation with authority,
in the name of the Corporation, to exercise and perform
the powers, functions and duties conferred or imposed
on the Corporation by or under this Ordinance.
(3) The Chairman shall be appointed for such term
as the Governor thinks fit and any member appointed
under subsection (1)(c) who is not a public officer
shall be appointed for a term not exceeding 3 years.
(4) The Chairman and any member appointed under
subsection (1)(c) who is not a public officer may, upon
the expiry of his term of appointment, be reappointed
and may before the expiry thereof
(a) resign his office by notice to the Governor; or
(b)
be removed therefrom by the Governor for
permanent incapacity or other sufficient
