meetings. As to getting together at London, originally I think we had tentatively agreed to meet about July 1, 1975. Since we shall be in Europe, what do you think of our getting together on May 29 and 30, while en route to Nice or on June 9 and 10 after we conclude there? If these dates are inconvenient, we still of course could meet as originally planned on or about July 1 and 2. As you are to be the host this year, I shall leave it to you to arrange an acceptable date with the Hong Kong Narcotics Commissioner.

Lastly, although Norman Rolph has retired, we do hope he can spend some time with us at our London meeting.

We are looking forward to seeing you and another very interesting and productive conference.

Sincerely,

John R. Bartels, Jr. Administrator

P.S. As I was about to sign this letter I received your letter of April 8, 1975. I think we are in agreement on the need and timing for a meeting. The only point left for a decision is the proposed Canadian participation.
