It was agreed that the FCO should consider Ir Lee's proposals urgently, consulting in appropriate quarters, with a view to a further meeting with Mr Lee and Nr Law (who would both meanwhile be remaining in Europe on leave) in the week beginning 21 July. Mr Rumbelow would be returning to Ilong Kong by the beginning of July and would thus be availaui. to give any further background on the matter to the Folitical Adviser.
