We have no comments at the moment on the second of the two Thai proposals.

When the possibility of harrassing Thai fishing vessels was raised in December 1973, we commented that the most satisfying solution would be to persuade the Thai Government to identify and search the trawlers within their own territorial waters. I feel bound to say that this would still seem to be the preferable course.
