We spoke about this on the telephone. I am quite content to leave it to you to decide whether to send this in its present form to MOD for the purpose of seeking their views on the more detai- led aspects of the scheme which we have now identified or whether to use the material in the note as a basis for a separate letter.
We agreed the best way of proceeding might be to suggest to MOD that we should have a meeting before they reached a final conclusion on this further approach.
