CANADIAN ACCEPTANCE OF REFUGEES FROM HONG KONG
1. I was telephone this morning by the Canadian High Commission, who told me that they had now agreed to accept a total of 498 refugees from Indo-China currently in Hong Kong. Four hundred and ninety-seven of these were Vietnamese and one was Cambodian.
2. They are keeping these figures confidential.
