Lord Goronwy-Roberts will have the opportunity to refer to this matter when he sees the Governor tomorrow morning and I will be giving a copy of the telegrams to the Governor on his arrival this evening. Provided in the light of the discussion Lord Goronwy- Roberts is satisfied with the line being taken tomorrow, I recommend
that we should send a telegram on the lines of the attached draft endorsing the position.
