Before joining the Royal Hong Kong Police Force the Prisoner used to go to Canton to visit his natural mother and sisters once a year or so. His relationship with step-mother and her daughters was said to be normal. When he was a seaman he was said to take money home every month out of his own accord.

Step-mother : TSE Yuen-kiu, 39, housewife.

Step-sisters : TSUI Ying-kuen, 20, married and had 2 children.

HOME ENVIRONMENT

The family occupies several wooden huts and some of them are used as pigsty and poultry sheds. They live in stone house. All other huts situated in Tai Kwong Po Village, Kam Tin, N.T. at about 10 minutes walk from Kam Tin Highway. They lived there for nearly 17 years. The whole farm was rented at $4,700 for a period of 5 years. The Prisoner since joining the Royal Hong Kong Police Force, used to stay at the Police Quarters.
