GENERAL INFORMATION
The Prisoner was born in China on 27th July, 1953. He was brought to Hong Kong by his grandmother sometime in 1957 to join his grandfather here while his parents and 4 sisters were living in Canton. Later in 1961 his father came to Hong Kong by illegal entry and left his mother and 4 daughters behind in Canton.
Not long after arrival his father ran a pultry farm at the present address in Kam Tin, New Territories, earning around $2,000 a month. Sometime in 1969 his father cohabited with an- other woman, named Tse Yuen Kiu, the mother of 5 daughters. The two families lived together in the farm. The Prisoner is the only son of the family.
The Prisoner received 8 years grammar schooling includ- ing 1 year in kindergarten. He studied up to F. 1 at Pak Yu Middle School in 1967. He had also received 221⁄2 years training at the Hong Kong Sea School up to December 1970. After leaving the Hong Kong Sea School he worked as a seaman for about a year. In early 1972 he returned home to help his father in the farm. Later he joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in November 1972 under training at the Police Training School. training he was stationed at the Yuen Long Police Station up to
