SUMMARY

The Prisoner came from a big family. Though it was said that his parents were neither permissive nor authoritarian, it was possible that with the large number of children that they had, they might not be able to give the Prisoner individual attention. Thus, the Prisoner had an opportunity to associate with undesirables and it appeared that he had kept company with them for quite a long time, going to parties, bowling centres and amusement parks. This association with undesirables appeared to have been a major reason for his downfall.
