report upon the cases of the above four men convicted by a jury on
19th November 1974, and sentenced by me to death for the murder on 9th
September 1973, at a lane connecting Yue Man Square with Kun Tong Road,

unanimously convicted of seven counts of wounding with intent to do
grievous bodily harm. I passed no sentence in respect of these
convictions. All of the offences occurred at the same time and place.
The explanation for the accused persons appearing in different case
numbers is that the accused in case number 69 of 1974 was not arrested
until after the three accused in case number 53 of 1974 had been
committed for trial. The cases were tried together. Another man

Sessions Case 69 of 1974, was tried together with the other four
accused on the same charges and acquitted of each charge by the unanimous
verdict of the jury.
