She seldom talked to the Prisoner for no special reasons. She thought the Prisoner had not been too bad to the siblings as he sometimes brought home fruits for them.

She felt that the Prisoner had a particular fear for the father who seemed to be hard on him, and that the Prisoner used to stay out very late.
