B. FAMILY COMFOSITION

Wife :

WOO Mei-chun, aged 19, married without statutory registration on 24.3.1973. Presently, she is a food-seller at the Metropole Restaurant in North Point, earning about $600 per month.

Daughter : MAN Wai-yee, born on 6.1011973. .

Father: MAN Ting-on, died in 1967 at the age of 62.

Mother:

CHEUNG Kau-mui, aged 56, formerly a torch factory hand and

now a baby-sitter at home.

3 elder brothers:

(1) MAN Kam-lung, aged 39, cannot be contacted during the inquiry period; said to be operating a saw-mill somewhere in the New Territories.-

(2) MAN Kam-shu, aged 33,

HOME ENVIRONMENT

The Prisoner spent his childhood in Chai Wan, living at Hing Wah Resettlement Area, Ten years ago, he and his parents moved to their present address, namely, Rooms 121 and 123, Block 15, G/F. Valley Road Estate.

After he got married, he and his wife and daughter were given to live at room 123 whereas his mother and the unmarried sons remained at room 121 next door. Monthly rental for his room is $57. It is not very spacious, with a bed-room and a small sitting room.

Do ASSOCIATES

Apart from his own relatives, the Prisoner also had association with other teenagers living in his vicinity, playmates known at the Valley Road Playground and also fellow workers in his trade of interior decoration. He however denied any membership of illegal organisations.
