Miss HO Lai-chun (Elder sister of the Prisoner, living with

Miss HO stated that she knew some of the Prisoner' friends and found them good characters with steady employment. The Prisoner did not go out too often with the family although he was fond of going to cinema with his younger brother. She confirmed that the Prisoner was on unsatisfactory terms with his father and that they had no common interest. The Prisoner was good to his sisters and had occasionally bought them clothes when he was employed in the cloth company. Being fond of swimming, motor-cycling, camping, and watching exciting films, the Prisoner was considered an active character who had no difficulties in making friends with those of his age. She further disclosed that she had never heard about the other Prisoners in the same case before the trial.

Mrs. LEUNG HO Kwai-lin (Younger sister of the Prisoner, married

and living apart)

She was in

Mrs. LEUNG was married in early 1974. fact the first one to disclose to the investigating probation officer that the Frisoner had already been absent from home for more than six months before the commission of the offences. She felt that there was a gap between the Prisoner and his father/and sisters; for difference in interests and for the matter of sex respectively.

Miss HO Kwai-mui (Younger sister of the Prisoner, living with

the family)

Miss HO had the impression that the Prisoner did not want them to meet his friends who appeared to be teddy-boys of dubious character. She only saw some of them outside their house. She agreed that the Prisoner was concerned of her, although they did not share common interests, and that he had admonished her to be careful in making friends and he strong against evil temptations.

Master HO Kwai-kun (Younger brother of the Prisoner, living with

the family)

He stated that he had not seen his brother for about two years.

When living at home, the Prisoner occasionally brought him to cinema, particularly for those Chinese "Kung-fu" pictures. The Prisoner was a fan of the deceased film-star Bruce LEE, this little boy disclosed.

Mr. and Mrs. TAM (An old couple, sub-tenants of the Prisoner's

family for over 10 years)

They expressed that although the Prisoner had not been helpful to them, they were sorry and shocked by the offences he committed. They did not wish to comment further,
