Act, 1884.
sentenco or otherwise the removal of tho prisonor is expedient for his safor custody or for moro officiontly carrying his sentence into effect; or
(e.) that tho prisonor bolongs to a class of porsons who under tho law of tho said British possossion aro subjoot to removal undor this Act;
in any such case the removing authority may,' subject novortheless to the regulations in foroo undor this Aal, ordor such prisoner lo be removed to any British possession or to the United Kingdom to undorgo his sontonce or the residue thereof.
3.-(1.) Whoro a prisonor has been removed in pursunnce of this Act, a Secretary of State or tho Government of a British possession to which the prisoner has been so removed, may order the prisoner, for the purpose of undergoing the residue of his sentence, to be roturned to the British possession from which he was removed,
(2.) If a Secretary of Stato or the Government of a British possession to which a prisoner is removed under this Act, requires the prisoner to bo returned for discharge to the British possession from which ho was removed, the prisoner shall, in accordance withi̟ tho' regulations under this Ack, bo rolárned to the said British possession for the purpose of being there discharged at the expiration of his sentence. In any other onse a prisoner when discharged at the expiration of his sentence shall be entitled to be sonk from of cost to the British possession from which he was removed;
Provided that whore a prisoner at the daley of his sonionce belonged to the Royal Navy or to Her Majesty's regular military forces, nothing in this soction shall require such prisoner to be returned to the British possession from which ho was removed, or entitie him to bo sont there froo of cost.
4.-(1.) It shall be lawful for Hor Majesty in Council from time to time to make, and when mado, revoke and vary regulations as to the removal, rolurn, and discharge of prisoners under this Aot,
(2.) The regulations may provide for varying the conditions of a sentence of imprisonment passed in a British possession, where they differ from the conditions of a sentence of imprisonment in the part of for Majesty's dominions to which the prisoner is removed, with a viow to bringing them into conformity with the latter conditions, but tho prisoner shall not by ronson of such variation undergo an imprisonment of any longer duration; and where the latter con- ditions appear to a Secretary of Stalo ko bo mora, sovore kimna tho
