La/Co Mr Stanley Newens (Harlow): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if any witnesses in trials of individuals charged with corruption as the result of investigations initiated by the Independent Commission against Corruption in Hong Kong have been allowed to keep corrupt earnings and evade tax liabilities on such earnings in return for giving evidence.
