You will recall that in your letter of the 21st December you stated that a girl and her mother reported to the Sai Ying Pun Police Station some time in 1968 that the girl had been raped by a

On the basis of that the Police searched their crine report books in the various Western police stations and failed to find any report of this nature. You were then so informed.

In your letter of the 22nd March you disclosed the name of the girl and also the month when the report vas made. A further search was then instituted and embraced not only the crime report books but the other report books vhich deal with non criminal matters. It was here that they found that a report had been made, but not in the manner described in your first letter. According to the report the older brother of the girl reported that she was missing from home wilfully and that it was suspected that she had been seduced by this Unkova

The case was treated as a request for police assis- tance to find the missing girl and to investigate whether there vas anything criminal in her relationship with this
