However, I take it from the context that you are principally concerned about cases put by the Independent Commission Against Corruption to the Attorney-General's office for possible prosecution and rejected there. As at mid-February, there have been only two such cases while proceedings had been instituted in 127 with 72 successful prosecutions and 27 cases still pending. I should add that in one of the two cases originally dropped, the Attorney- General's office decided, on reflection, to proceed, only to have the case rejected in court for lack of evidence.
