UNITS AND FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED ELSEWHERE

APPENDIX 3 TO

1.

Unit/Facility and Proposed Relocation

RAOC Barrack Stores. Although all barrack/accommodation stores would be provided from the Osborn Barracks Stores, some increased storage capacity, say 2,000 cu ft, would be necessary at Stanley to cater for the temporary accumulation of stores which occurs whenever changes are made in accommodation arrangements. It will also be necessary to establish a small Married Quarters Exchange Store in LYEMUN to serve that Barracks and the NE area of Hong Kong Island.

Teachers Training Centre. The Centre, now in Victoria Barracks, would be moved into St George's School. Given the expected fall in the number of secondary school pupils, suitable accommodation could be created with minimal works services.
