I enclose a full set of the notes of the four plenary sessions held in Hong Kong recently, as the official record of our negotiations. I understand they were cleared at the time with the Minister. Perhaps you would be good enough to copy and distribute as appropriate within Whitehall.
I have also enclosed copies of
i)
ii)
the financial working group's records; the Heads of Agreement;
iii)
the joint press statement; and
iv)
the record of the full meeting of Executive Council and Unofficial Members of Legis - lative Council held on the 28th October.
for completeness although it is possible you have some of these docu- ments already.
We are pushing ahead with all priority with the Joint Working Party (on reprovisioning of RAF Kai Tak and Victoria Barracks) and the other items we undertook to pursue. There are still one or two pieces of information and advice we need from M. O. D. : anything you can do to ensure that we don't lose momentum would be appreciated.
