25. UK Personnel. Provided that periods of separation of families are minimised and early notice of postings is given to individuals affected by the rundown, there is no reason why high morale should not be maintained. Contingency planning by the appropriate Manning Departments is already in hand.

LEP/LEC. Provided the maximum possible notice of redundancy

is given, that the terms are comparable with good local employers and all possible steps taken to assist those made redundant to find civilian employment, there is no reason why morale should

not be maintained.

11. Approval of Redundancy Scheme for LEPs.

i. The means by which residual HF facilities are provided

in Hong Kong.
