DEFENCE COSTS AGREEMENT
As agreed at Robert Andrew's meeting yesterday, I enclose draft telegrams to the Governor setting out our draft text of the Memorandum of Understanding together with a few comments on it.
2.
It was agreed at that meeting that before sending these off, we should have one final run-through at a meeting in this office and at which the Treasury and the DOE could be represented. I feel under some pressure to send these telegrams off by the weekend and, with apologies for the short notice, would be grateful if all those to whom this minute is addressed could attend a meeting here at 11.00 a.m. on Friday or send a representative if they themselves cannot be present.
