only real difficulty in both years has been to attract career applicants
in such specialist professional branches as legal and catering. The
Graduate Entry University Cadetship Scheme continues to be successful.
11. Despite the deficits in some specialist branches, the
Royal Air Force's officer strength is currently in reasonable
balance with requirements. Details of officer recruitment are
