The sentiments expressed in DS6's minute D/DS6/46/66/1 of 6 January are very similar to those which we conveyed verbally
to Brian Hawtin on the same day.
2.
Mr Ward's suggested redraft is therefore acceptable to us.
However, lest Mr Dalyell thinks we have a secret weapon "military
preserve" should be changed to "military presence".
