DEFENCE REVIEW CONSULTATIONS
1. Mr M G F Hall, DM Division, Treasury, who has been the Treasury representative on the Defence Studies Working Party and at most of the other inter-departmental Defence Review meetings at Assistant Under-Secretary level, has telephoned to say that the Treasury have rather lost track of Defence Review consultations with other countries since they were started last month. He asks if he could be included on the distribution of telegrams on this subject. Could I please ask you to include him, unless there are reasons for not doing so, in any Defence Review telegrams which you initiate?
