The Secretary for Security has sent me the enclosed letter on questions about the naval element in the garrison which were not fully dealt with during our visit.

You told me the other day that there had been further thought on this question within the Navy Department, and specifically that there was now a revised estimate of the cost of replacing the patrol boats. This is, of course, highly relevant to Davies's questions.

I wonder whether his points could now be considered by the HOL": You may wish to reply direct, but I am very happy to continue to act as post-box if you wish.
