Would you please refer to your minute of 20 August to Mr Williams about the proposed grant of £0.5m for equipment for the Hong Kong Polytechnic.
2. I am sorry that this problem is still with us but pending further discussion I confirm that your department may order equipment up to a total of £50,000 ie an additional £12,000.
3. This increase on the previous £38,000 is without prejudice to consideration of the main proposal.
