It was also decided that out-of-print books would automatically be cancelled from the indent. Blackwells have agreed that they will inform you whether or not they think that it would be worthwhile for you to have a standing order for out-of-prints, bearing in mind that some volumes may take literally years to be re-printed. If still required, out-of-prints can be re- ordered at a later date, depending on Blackwells advice, perhaps being ordered independently by the Polytechnic. They also agree to send a status report every six months. (This period can be reduced, if you require, to say three months).
where Blackwells supply a wrong book, please DO NOT use the normal Customer Credit system currently employed.
If you inform Crown Agents of any error, Crown Agents will arrange the necessary credit to offset against the replacements.
Replacements will be invoiced separately.
Vernon Wade-Brown has cabled you previously, and I hope this letter expands upon his cable.
Please let me have your comments on any points which you may feel may be a weak link in the chain.

Supplier can only offer 1 - 6 drawer wooden cabinet, plus 2 wooden trays, not metal as requested.
I have discovered that a machine of this type is produced by Martini Bookbinders of Switzerland. Bearing in mind the "UK only" clause, can you recommend a British manufacturer, or should I press for the Swiss machine?
I trust that this "referring-back" to you does not inconvenience you unduly. Also, since even air-mail takes several days, would it be in order to contact you by telex. Crown Agents Telex No. is 916205 here in the UK, and I feel that valuable time may be saved by using telex for the quick queries, and perhaps following up by letter at a later date.
Enclosed are two brochures from Messrs Singer, on the machine they consider will suit at item three, where description is rather vague.
