1. Thank you for your letter of 23 July.
2. A paper seeking approval for the £0.5 million for the Polytechnic is to be put to the Chairman of the ODM Projects Committee later this week or early next. We are hoping the Minister for Overseas Development will approve the project without it being formally considered at a meeting of the Projects Committee. If this latest bid should prove successful, we will attempt to treat the Technical Institute project in the same manner.
