Mr O'Keeffe
Thy 2/9/75
We spoke to-day, and decided that the attached correspondence and minutes had perhaps better not be entered. I should be grateful if you would see that they are kept among your personal papers as Head of Department.
2.
I am passing Sir Murray MacLehose's third (confidential) letter of 18 August to Lord Goronwy-Roberts for his information (copy of minute attached). After Lord Goronwy- Roberts has seen it, these papers should I think be
registered and a reference to this letter might be worked in when we communicate again with Sir Murray about tactics on the defence costs.
